solutions, announces the deployment of its newest offering – LawVision™,
at the DeSoto Texas Police Department. DeSoto is a Dallas suburb.
LawVision, an
in-car digital video and audio solution for public safety agencies,
enables police departments to efficiently update their existing analog
vehicle systems with the latest digital technology without having to
invest in expensive new hardware. EyeNx provides the software that
improves the productivity of the existing in-car equipment regardless of
its age - plus eliminating the VCR that sits in the trunk of the squad
car.
The DeSoto Police
Department initially installed LawVision in 20 of its 27 patrol cars and
is noting quickly the benefits of the new digital system. Such benefits
range from the high quality of the audio pitch and video screen to the
automatic and simple capabilities for users. The DeSoto police officers
use the LawVision solution for “pre-event recording,” to expedite and
respond to citizens’ complaints about given situations, and for
testimony in court to support criminal cases.

need to purchase additional hardware – enhancements are provided via the
LawVision software.
